Don't miss the Clear Lake Pastorate's bus trip to the Friday, September 18 Rural Life Mass near Waterloo. See events for more details. Reserve a seat for $5. Bus departs St. Pat's Clear Lake South parking lot at 8:00 am for the 10:30 Mass. Free will lunch to follow. Back to Clear Lake around 5:00 pm. The entire pastorate and our neighbors are invited.

The North Iowa Nurse Honor Guard was established last spring by retired nurses Patti Peterson, Diane Thenhaus and Angela Westphal. The organization is one of several Nurse Honor Guard chapters serving communities across Iowa, providing ceremonial tributes at the funerals and memorial services of nurses.

Herminia "Minnie" Flores, 94, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Epiphany Parish – Holy Family Catholic Church.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
Amen.

Are you someone who is interested in becoming Catholic?
Do you have a child age 7 or older who is not baptized?
Were you baptized Catholic but have not celebrated the sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation?
Maybe now is the time you hear God welcoming you into a deeper relationship with Him.

If so, we offer an opportunity to come together in a small group setting to learn more about the Catholic faith and the OCIA process in a supportive environment.
Sessions begin Sunday, September 13th.

Our OCIA/OCIC co-coordinators set up a table at last week's Newman school registration and Fr. Peter stopped by to say hello. Thank you Christie Curtis and Teri Anderson for leading this ministry this year!
