Reset Church was formerly known as Turning Point Church which started in 1996. The name change has been in the plan all along and finally become official in 11/2013. Turning Point Church needed a Reset just like people sometimes do. It is a gathering of people from a variety of backgrounds, an inter-generational mix of people, together seeking God.

Blessed to Be a Blessing: Walking in the Inheritance of Abraham
Day 5: There Is a Place at the Table

Reading: Genesis 12:1-3 and Revelation 7:9-10 -- God's promise to Abraham that all nations would be blessed through him finds its ultimate fulfillment in the vision of every tribe, tongue, and nation gathered before the throne.

Devotional: From the very first call of Abraham, God's heart was never narrow. He was not simply building a nation. He was building a family. Every empty chair at the Father's table is intentional. Every place setting is an invitation. The blessing that began with one man in an idolatrous land was always meant to reach every corner of the earth. You are both a recipient of that promise and a carrier of it. The gospel preached to Abraham beforehand is the same gospel living inside of you now. The nations are still being gathered. The table is still being filled. And you have a role in that story.

Reflection: Who in your life, your neighborhood, your workplace, or your circle of influence is still without a place at the table? How might God be calling you to extend the invitation?

Practical Application: Pray specifically by name for three people in your life who do not yet know Christ. Ask God to open a door for you to share your story with at least one of them this week.
