Today during victory prayer, one of our church members opened his eyes and shared that he had seen an angel.

What followed was such a powerful teaching from Pastor about learning to see with our spiritual eyes.

We’re so quick to tell ourselves, and especially our children, “Stop daydreaming. Stop imagining.” But Pastor encouraged us not to shut that down.

Sometimes what we call imagination may be a place where God begins showing us something, stirring something, or teaching us to see beyond what’s right in front of us.

The enemy would love nothing more than for us to stop looking, stop believing, and stop expecting to see what God has for us.

I’m so thankful for a Pastor who doesn’t only teach us the Bible, but also encourages us to grow spiritually, recognize the voice of God, and learn how to operate in the gifts He has given us.

Before worship begins, we gather together for Victory Prayer. 30 minutes of seeking God, getting into His presence, and preparing our hearts for service.

We plead the blood of Jesus over our children, our families, our finances, our health and our bodies. We pray over our church, our communities, our loved ones, and even our enemies. We bring it ALL before Him.

Come expecting. Come believing. Come ready to pray.
