It’s time to pull out those flannels, cozy up by the fire, and get ready for a night of FAITH, FUN & FELLOWSHIP!

FAITH & FLANNELS Friday, October 2 | 7:00 PM

Think cozy flannels, crackling campfires, gooey s’mores, lots of laughs, and a little heart-to-heart about FAITH. We’ll have a special teaching on what it means to say YES to faith—to trust God, take that step, and follow Him even when we can’t see the whole path ahead. And because every good girls’ night needs a little something special… each lady will receive a special gift to take home as a reminder of our night and the faith we’re choosing to live out!
FLANNELS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!The cozier, the better. Plaid is basically the dress code.
Campfire? Check
S’mores? Absolutely
Girl time? Of course
Encouragement for your faith? YES!

Sometimes, all God is asking for is one simple response: yes.
Not guarantees.
Not a Plan B.
Not a road map showing every step along the way.
Faith is trust in God strong enough to move forward when the full path remains unseen.
It does not demand certainty.
It calls for obedience.
There are moments when God does not reveal every detail, every outcome, or every answer in advance. Instead, He invites surrender. He asks for trust. He leads one step at a time.
Faith says yes before the evidence feels complete.
Faith says yes before the fear disappears.
Faith says yes because God is faithful.

You are not called to fight for a win that Heaven is still trying to achieve—you are called to enforce a victory that has already been secured in Christ. The war has been won; the outcome is settled. Because of Jesus, the battle is finished, and we stand in triumph, not in uncertainty. Today, you can take your place as one who reigns in His completed victory.

God doesn’t ask you to manufacture confidence—He gives you promises to stand on. These verses anchor our faith in what Christ has already done and what that victory means for your life right now.

1 Corinthians 15:57 — “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

John 16:33 — “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Our victory over sin and death is not a feeling we work up—it is a finished reality purchased for us through His blood. At the cross, Jesus carried the weight of our sin and paid the full price for our redemption, so we could be brought back to God completely and forever. His sacrifice didn’t merely cover sin; it broke sin’s authority, releasing us into real freedom from its power and patterns. Through His death, He triumphed over death itself, proving that the grave is not the final word for those who belong to Him. This is the finished work of Calvary: nothing left to add, nothing left to earn, nothing left to prove. When Jesus declared, “It is finished,” He was announcing that the enemy’s claim was canceled and our new life was secured. Now, by faith, we live from what He accomplished, not from what we can achieve. In Christ, your identity is not “defeated” or “trying”—you are an overcomer, standing in the power of His completed victory.
Stand, don’t strive — When pressure rises, remind yourself that you’re not fighting for God to come through; you’re standing on what He has already done. From that place, your steps become steady and your faith becomes bold.
Speak agreement with Heaven — Enforcing victory often looks like refusing defeat-filled language and declaring God’s truth over your mind, home, and future. Your words can align your heart with what Christ has secured.
Resist from a place of authority — The enemy’s strategy is intimidation, but your position is triumph in Christ. You resist not as a victim, but as one seated with Jesus and backed by His name.
Live free from condemnation — The cross settled your standing with God, so you don’t have to rehearse shame or earn your way back into peace. Repent quickly, receive mercy fully, and keep moving forward in freedom.
Choose obedience as a victory response — Obedience isn’t how you purchase victory; it’s how you express it. Every step of surrender reinforces that Jesus is Lord over every part of your life.
You are not waiting for victory—you are learning to walk in what Jesus has already won. When your emotions waver or circumstances feel loud, return to the truth: Christ has overcome, and you belong to Him. Let your daily choices, prayers, and words reflect the reality of His triumph. Stand tall, keep your eyes on Jesus, and live today as the one He calls victorious.

Can you relax in the presence of God?

So often we strive, worry, and carry burdens we were never meant to hold. But Jesus gives us a different invitation—not to perform, but to abide.
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me." — John 15:4
The branch doesn't struggle to produce fruit. It simply stays connected to the vine.
What if today you chose to rest instead of strive? To trust instead of worry? To simply remain in His presence?
When you abide in Christ, peace replaces pressure, and fruit flows from His life in you.
Can you relax in the presence of God today?

An old truck sits at the edge of a wide field, paint faded by time, yet still having purpose, shielding and supporting rows of sunflowers until they are ready to bloom.
They’ve all received the same water and the same sunlight—yet ONE sunflower has lifted its face and bloomed first while the others still wait.
There’s a special kind of bravery in being first—when no one else has moved yet, and you can feel every eye on you.
Sometimes courage looks like choosing not to wait for the crowd, not to shrink back until it feels safer or more popular.
God may be inviting you to bloom before your season, to grow in a way that doesn’t match what’s around you, and to trust His timing over your own comfort.
When He calls, your next step might not come with applause—but it will come with purpose if you step out in faith, even when you feel alone.
In a biblical sense, sunflowers can point to faith, loyalty, and adoration—turning toward what gives life and direction.
They track the sun, reminding us to follow the Son—to keep our hearts oriented toward Christ throughout the day-to-day.
And like a sunflower that rises above the field, we’re called to stand tall and face the light, even when it feels like we’re the only one doing it.

Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”"

Maybe you’re that one sunflower today—the one who feels the nudge to move while everyone else is still waiting.
Maybe God is calling you to bloom first, to take the next step even if it’s unfamiliar, and to rise with quiet confidence.
You don’t have to have all the answers to be brave; you just have to keep turning your face toward the One who leads you.
Don't wait for permission to bloom. Your season is NOW.

She Never Gave Up: A Testimony of Faith and Perseverance
I walked into Dill Dinkers and could not believe my eyes. I was literally unable to take my eyes off a lady playing pickleball in a wheelchair. I had to take my camera out and video her—if only to remind myself how to persevere, push through, and not give up. And in that moment, I felt my perspective shift in the best way.

I watched her track the ball with full focus and fire, taking shot after shot like she belonged there—because she did. Some balls she got to clean, and some she missed, but not once did she look discouraged or defeated. When her partner started to slide toward her side, she firmly told them “not to poach” because she had the shot. She never complained—not about the chair, not about the challenge, not about the pace of the game. She simply persevered as if she were fully using all her extremities, playing with a grit that made everything else feel small.

After the game I ran up to meet her, honestly not knowing how she’d react to a stranger approaching with emotion in their voice. But she was so kind—warm, present, and genuinely easy to talk to. I told her she was an inspiration, because watching her compete lit something up in me that I didn’t even realize I needed. She looked at me and said, “God has given me a testimony”, with a calm confidence that stopped me in my tracks. She shared that she’s been in a wheelchair for 10 years, and before that she used to play pickleball on her feet. One day she tore a ligament and thought she’d never play again—and then shortly after, she had a devastating horse riding accident that changed everything, and she never walked again.

What hit me the hardest is this: she hasn’t let anything stop her—not pain, not disappointment, not the kind of change most people fear. She still shows up and shows off, not for attention, but as proof that her story isn’t over. The way she carried herself—steady, fearless, unbothered—made perseverance feel like something you can catch. Her confidence and perseverance is contagious, and it made me ask myself why I ever give my excuses so much power. And when she gave God the glory, it felt like confirmation that what I witnessed wasn’t just athletic—it was spiritual.

Here’s what I walked away with: it doesn’t matter what you go through—God is always on your side. He doesn’t just comfort you; He empowers you to keep moving forward, and He equips you for what your life is asking of you. Life was never promised to be easy, but He promised He would be with us every step of the way. And according to MJ, He is the only reason she is able to get out of bed every day—and after hearing her story, I believe that with my whole heart.

So let me ask you—what limits are you letting hold you back? What would you do if you truly believed God was equipping you every step of the way? Don’t wait until you “feel ready”—show up, push through, and let your faith be bigger than your obstacles. Your testimony might be on the other side of the very thing you’re trying to avoid.
Don’t give up. Show up. Show off what God can do through you.
