Last Saturday, Wiley Mission had a booth at the Annual Evesham Senior Expo where Wiley representatives had a chance to meet with local seniors and explain all that Wiley has to offer. Having opened a year and a half ago, the Wiley subacute rehab wing accepts patients from all around who need a place to recover before going home. Wiley representatives had a chance to share the approach of subacute rehab and how local residents can recover close to home if they ever need it. Wiley is here for you Evesham!

Ice Cream in October? Yes, Please!

Last Wednesday, Wiley Mission in Marlton, NJ, celebrated the end of another season of warm-weather activities with a special visit from the Mr. Softee ice cream truck!

Throughout the warmer months, Mr. Softee is a familiar and welcome sight at Wiley Christian Retirement Community, making eight visits each season to serve delicious frozen treats to our residents and staff, completely free of charge.

It’s just one of the many ways Wiley Mission creates a welcoming, engaging environment where residents and staff can enjoy special moments together.

From seasonal celebrations to everyday activities, building a strong sense of community is an important part of life at Wiley Mission. And sometimes, that sense of community comes with a little ice cream!

Because at Wiley, it’s about more than senior living. It’s about enjoying life together.

Creative Expression in Later Life: How Art, Music, and Writing Support Senior Health

Growing older does not mean we stop creating, learning, or discovering new ways to express who we are. In fact, later life can offer opportunities to explore interests that may have been set aside during the busy years of careers, raising families, and caring for others.

Whether it is picking up a paintbrush, singing a favorite hymn, playing an instrument, writing down a treasured memory, or simply enjoying music with friends, creative expression can be an important part of healthy aging.
