I want to take a minute to shout out my pastor, Mark Moore, Jr. On yesterday morning, Brayden and I drove to the McDonough campus for their 8:00 AM service. After he preached, he then had to leave to go to the Atlanta campus to preach the 10:00 and 12:00 services

Lasted that evening he texted me apologizing for not spending more time with us had he known that we wouldn’t be there all day. WHAT?!?! This man has preached 12-13 sermons in multiple states in the last 7 days and he’s apologizing for that??? There’s no mystery as to why I’m submitted to his leadership. My pastor truly cares for those whom God has placed under his covering.

I am humbled to call you my pastor sir and I thank God for you! My family loves and appreciates you sir! 🙏🏾

Just pulling back up in the driveway at 11:45 PM. I was blessed to be able to go fellowship with my pastor, Mark Moore and Spirit & Truth Church at the McDonough campus tonight for night 2 of their Pentecost Revival. What a time we had!!! 🙌🏾

I want to brag on this kid for a minute. Some have heard me tell the story about him transitioning from travel baseball to his first season of high school baseball and not being “the dude”. Not playing all the time was something that he had to get used to. I told him to keep going in there working hard every day and be a good teammate whether he was playing or not.

After the JV season ended a few weeks ago, he took it upon himself to start staying after the school and “watching” the varsity baseball team practice. In his “watching”, he started sneaking on the field and taking reps with them.

Well, I got a call from the head baseball coach last night and when I answered the phone he asked, “Have you talked to Brayden?” My first thought was, “Oh my…what’s happened!” After I told him that I hadn’t yet, Coach says, “He showed up at practice tonight and I asked him why he was there. After he told me that he was just there to hang out and watch us practice, I told him that since he’s been hanging around a lot lately that I’m gonna let him travel with us tomorrow.” As a dad, that made me as proud as I think I’ve ever been because this is something that he EARNED by doing the seemingly small things that make a big difference.

He also taught me a lesson: If you want something bad enough, be persistent whether you think it’s being noticed or not! 🙏🏾
