Here at the COACB, we are blessed to work alongside people we proudly call Kingdom Builders. A Kingdom Builder is someone who helps bring people closer to Christ through faithful service, whether it is in front of the camera or quietly behind the scenes where few people ever notice.

Today, we are honored to recognize Tom Callahan.

Tom is an ordained minister and serves as the Associate Pastor at Lifebuilders Worship Center in Delaware, Ohio. He currently serves here at COACB as a Board Member and volunteer, faithfully helping this ministry continue reaching people throughout Ohio and beyond. Alongside his wife Mary, Tom also ministers to viewers as a host on PrayerLine LIVE.

Tom has faithfully served this ministry for more than 25 years. He is also a gifted musician who loves playing guitar and singing unto the Lord. Whether through music, prayer, encouragement, or service behind the scenes, Tom has touched countless lives with his faithfulness and servant’s heart.

People like Tom are part of the reason this ministry continues moving forward after all these years. Faithful servants who may never ask for recognition, but who continue showing up year after year to help build the Kingdom of God.

Thank you, Tom, for your faithfulness, your servant’s heart, and your dedication to the work of the Lord. We are grateful to call you part of the COACB family.

Jeff Whitaker Tribute Concert
Tonight at 7:00 PM

Join us for a special evening as we celebrate the life and legacy of Jeff Whitaker, a beloved Christian bluegrass musician and faithful friend to so many throughout Central Ohio.

Jeff loved the Lord and used his musical gifts to share the Gospel wherever he went. His music reflected his faith, his love for people, and his desire to glorify God. Through the years, Jeff touched countless lives with both his talent and his kindness, becoming a cherished part of the Christian bluegrass community.

This tribute concert will be an evening of music, fellowship, memories, and thanksgiving for a life well lived. Friends, family, and fellow musicians will come together to honor Jeff and celebrate the impact he made on so many throughout the years.

While we miss his presence here on earth, we rejoice in knowing that he is now with the Lord he faithfully served.

Jon got some of the black-and-white film developed from last year’s auction, and this picture right here just made us smile.

There is something honest about this moment. No posing. No production. Just Amos Smith on the left and Gary Lyons on the right sitting down after a long day, finally taking a breath and relaxing for a moment.

I think pictures like this tell the real story of ministry and community events. Not just the auction itself, but the people behind it. The conversations, the work, the tired feet, the laughter, and those quiet moments when the day finally slows down.

Black-and-white film has a way of making moments feel timeless, and this one feels like a photograph from another era even though it was only taken last year.

Just two good men enjoying a well-earned rest after a long day.
