What an incredible night celebrating our seniors and welcoming in our new 7th graders! We did a super fun scavenger hunt that had all four team working together and running all over the place! It was hysterical!

Then James took a break from our series to teach about the importance living a life that seeks after wisdom. Wisdom allows us to find refuge in the Lord and keeps us from harmful paths.

He encouraged our younger students to really plug in and learn from the older ones. Then he challenged the older ones to continue to seek wisdom and have mentors in their life while also turning around and beginning to pour into the younger ones coming in!

Proverbs 2:13-14
“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.”

What a great group and phenomenal weather for youth last night!

We dove into the Lord’s Prayer last night as we continue our series on Prayer, Silence and Solitude.

We discussed and analyzed the structure Jesus gave us of how to pray. Then we had great discussion and questions on the back patio.

We are so thankful for teenagers who are hungry for more!

This morning our graduating seniors led our Prayer and Coffee Morning!

Lexi and Madelyn have truly been dynamic leaders in our youth group and it was such a joy to hear from them this morning!

They spoke on comparison and dove into how that looks when competing in sports verses in our everyday walk with the Lord. Then they ended on discussing fostering a heart of humility.

Couldn’t be more proud of these two and so excited for what the Lord has for them in this next season! 🥹

We had such an awesome youth group Sunday night! We sure are loving this warm weather! We love getting to play games outside and have our lesson time on the patio!

We are starting a new series on Prayer, Silence, and Solitude!

This week we dug into Matthew 6, discussing prayer and how drawing close to God is our reward. Prayer is so much more than hoping Him grants us our requests.

We talked about how prayer reminds us of our dependence on Him and can allow us to walk in confidence that He’s in control even in the midst of chaos around us.

There were so many questions and great discussion! So thankful for the hunger of these young people!

Thanks to the Osbourn’s for hosting our young adult life group and leading devotion time! We had so much fun together that we went home with tears in our eyes and our cheeks hurting from laughing so hard! We are blessed with this group for sure ❤️
