Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Marion, SC joyfully calls Rev. Laverne Page, Jr. to serve as Pastor.

This has been a historic transition and joyous occasion in the life of our church as we extend the call to Pastor Page. With hearts full of gratitude and hopeful expectation, we celebrate God’s faithful direction as He leads us into this promising season of ministry. We are confident that this moment has been ordained through His divine providence.

United in prayer and purpose, our church family warmly welcomes Pastor Page’s visionary leadership, spiritual wisdom, and servant-hearted commitment to God’s people. We invite our church family, friends, and surrounding community to join us in prayer for wisdom, strength, and abundant favor throughout this transition.

Together, we look forward to deepening our faith and fulfilling our mission to Love GOD and reach others with His Love through Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Evangelism, as we advance the work of the Kingdom with renewed passion and unity.

A vibrant new chapter begins at The Grove, and we rejoice with great expectation for all that God has prepared for our church family!

Today we celebrate not only the gift of your life, but also the calling God has placed upon you. As you embark on this new journey as pastor, we pray that the Lord will continue to guide your steps, strengthen your heart, and fill you with wisdom, peace, and joy.
