Two Sundays in a row w/out the holy assembly is a very strange feeling. For me, the sense of God's presence is strongest where His people are assembled.
But, He's in control of the weather too.

King David had a passion for God's presence. He longed to be near God and, even with his many faults, celebrated God all day.
Early in the morning he determined his heart to seek God's council.
Throughout the day he praised God as a witness to His goodness. His lifting of hands is an outward expression for others to see that even Kind David submits to and is thankful to God for all His blessings.

What an example for us to follow.
Start your day with prayer. Acknowledge God's power and generosity. Make the decision to praise Him inwardly and outwardly throughout the day.
This will benefit you as you'll be drawn closer to the realization of His presence.
Others will benefit as well as they see an imperfect person relying upon the perfect God.
King David wasn't perfect nor are we. But, Jesus is. Place your confidence in Him.
