"The Mercy Seat" In the Old Testament, the Ark of the Covenant signified God’s presence with Israel. In particular, the lid of the ark (known as the “mercy seat”) was where the high priest sprinkled blood each year, meeting God and making atonement for the people’s sins. Likewise, Jesus is now our mercy seat — the place where God meets us and where atonement for our sins is made.

"God Sees You" Have you ever felt forgotten, overlooked, or abandoned? In the story of Hagar, we meet a woman who experienced rejection, loneliness, and uncertainty, yet she encountered a God who saw her in the midst of her suffering. This sermon explores how God's compassion reaches those who feel invisible and how His faithfulness remains steadfast even in life's wilderness seasons. Through Hagar's journey, we are reminded that no matter where we are or what burdens we carry, God sees us, hears us, and provides hope when the future seems unclear.

"Alive to God" Romans 6 teaches that when we were baptized into Christ, we died to our old life and were raised to walk in newness of life. Because of Jesus' death and resurrection, sin is no longer our master, and we are called to live for God. Join us this Sunday as we reflect on what it means to be dead to sin, alive to God, and renewed through Christ.

"God's Gift of Shepherds" One of the many provisions God gives for our growth is the provision of leadership. This week, we will celebrate this provision and be reminded why godly leaders in a local church are such a blessing to the Lord's people.

"Reverence & Joy" The Lord’s Supper is often viewed as a time of solemn reflection, but does reverence require sadness? We’ll explore how Scripture presents both deep reverence and genuine joy as appropriate responses to Christ’s sacrifice. By looking at Jesus’ words in John 16:20–22 and the purpose of communion, we’ll see how remembering the cross also means celebrating the hope and victory found in the resurrection

"Built to Last" A well-built house still requires maintenance if it is going to stand the test of time. The same is true of the church. God has built His household on the solid foundation of Christ, but He has also given faithful servants to help strengthen and support His people. This Sunday, we'll look at the qualifications and character of deacons and why their role is so important in the life of the church.

“But God…” A young man fell to his death during Paul’s sermon, and grief filled the crowd. But God brought life where there was death. This Sunday, we’ll explore how that moment points to the greater hope found in Jesus, the risen Savior who makes us alive through Him.

"From Service to Growth: The Vital Role of Deacons" The kingdom of God is a kingdom defined by service — "the greatest among you shall be your servant” (Mt. 23:11). It comes as no surprise, then, that the health of a church is influenced by its deacons — specially appointed servants who are chosen because of their character and proven track record. Join us as we explore this important role.

"Which Supper?" The Lord’s Supper draws our gaze to Jesus’ death on the cross. When focusing on this display of humility and sacrifice, we can easily overlook some of Jesus’ other attributes. Far more than just an innocent lamb led to the slaughter, He is also a righteous warrior who fights for His people and is conquering His enemies. This picture of Jesus makes His crucifixion all the more impressive and meaningful.

“Drift or Devotion” Hebrews warns us to “pay much closer attention” so that we do not drift away. Most people do not walk away from Jesus all at once. It often happens slowly through distraction, neglect, and losing focus on what matters most. This Sunday we will look at why Jesus deserves our full attention and how we can stay anchored to Him in a world pulling us in every direction.

“Without Sin” Jesus was fully human in every way like us, yet without sin. From childhood to the cross, He perfectly trusted and obeyed the Father even while facing temptation, suffering, and rejection. Join us this Sunday as we remember the sinless Savior who bore our sins so that we might be healed.

"Prepared in the Wilderness" Life is full of hardships that test our resolve. While some amount of difficulty is inevitable, we generally view trials as nuisances to avoid whenever possible. A God-centered perspective, however, sees these trials through an eternal lens. How does God use our hardships in the big picture and how can this knowledge change our view of them in the moment?

"Lower Than the Angels" The Scriptures highlight an unmistakable contrast between human frailty and the exalted place we've been granted in the world. Even with all our God-given intellect and dominion, we find ourselves persuaded by lies, taken captive by desires, and subject to weakness. This sad irony is what makes Jesus’ sacrifice even more impressive. Come learn how His perfect life allows us to become the people God created us to be.

"Pure in Heart" Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” But what does that really mean? Is it about being perfect… or something deeper? This Sunday, we’ll take a closer look at what God truly cares about, the condition of our hearts, and what it means to live with a sincere and undivided devotion to Him. Come see how, when our hearts are focused on God, everything else begins to fall into place!

“O Worship the King” What does it really mean to worship? This Sunday during the Lord’s Supper, we’ll focus on remembering Christ and why He is worthy of our praise. As we think about His sacrifice, we’re reminded that worship isn’t just about what we do, it’s about the heart behind it and a life centered on Him.

"Connecting with the Psalms" The Psalms are some of the most beloved texts in the Bible, and for good reason. Their ability to help us process some of our most complex emotions in a way that draws us closer to God is profound and timeless. Yet for all their beauty, the Psalms can feel archaic and difficult to understand. Join us as we learn how to better appreciate and connect with these faith-building texts.

"With One Voice" The Bible repeatedly calls Christians to agree in our thinking, teaching, and practice. With all our differences, though, this sometimes seems like an unrealistic goal. This Sunday, our reflection on Christ’s sacrifice will center on His example of self-denial and how it helps us find unity in the body of Christ.

“Fearfully & Wonderfully Made” Who defines who you are? Culture has a lot to say, but God has already spoken. Psalm 139 shows us that we are not random or accidental, but personally created by God. Join us as we explore what it means to be fearfully and wonderfully made and how that truth calls us to live for Him.
