Isaiah 6-13

'Turn to the LORD'
6 Turn to the LORD and pray to him, now that he is near.
7 Let the wicked leave their way of life and change their way of thinking. Let them turn to the LORD, our God; he is merciful and quick to forgive.

'God's Thoughts are Higher'
8 "My thoughts," says the LORD, "are not like yours, and my ways are different from yours.
9 As high as the heavens are above the earth, so are my ways and my thoughts higher than yours.

'The Power of God's Word'
10 "No matter how much rain or snow falls from the sky, it doesn't return without watering the earth, making it produce and grow, providing seed for the farmer and food for the hungry.
11 That is how it is with my words. I send them out, and they always produce fruit. They will accomplish everything I want them to, and they will prosper everywhere I send them.

'Joy and Peace'
12 "You will leave Babylon with joy; you will be led away in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands.
13 Where thorn bushes grew, cypress trees will spring up; where briers grew, myrtles will grow. This will be a reminder of what the LORD has done, an everlasting sign that will never be destroyed."

Be content in every situation as I can do all things because Jesus strengthens me. As I have faith that Jesus is my hope, all other things become unimportant. From the Book of Philippians.

We are not designed to carry heavy loads of burden, especially those that weigh us down. Once they become our focus, our eyes are taken off of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit grieves. Remember, Jesus' promises provide all we need and it Glorifies God by trusting in him.
