Hi everyone. We're looking for volunteers for the Soul ministry for this fall. We've lost a few who are heading back to college our to other commitments.
The volunteers we're looking for would be for a ,"buddy" to a child with special needs. You'd be paired with a child one Sunday a month during church. Basically you would go into the kids church classroom with them just to help keep them on track if they need assistance and be someone they can look to for help if they feel overwhelmed by something. Creating a relationship with that child will be important. Training will be in September. No prior knowledge of special needs is necessary. Contact Alysha or Tracey for more information.

The team leaders, Alysha and Tracey visited grace church In Eden prairie to do some training. Now we're ready to have another training that is geared toward training the volunteers and anyone working directly with children with special needs. Times and dates are coming soon. Please pray for the planning in the next few weeks and special speakers to be able to help too.
