OCIA CLASSES BEGIN SEPTEMBER 21! Do you know someone who is interested in learning about the Catholic faith or joining the Catholic Church? Our Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) classes will begin on Monday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. downstairs in the Social Hall. Everyone is welcome at our classes, including anyone from the parish who would like to brush up on their faith. You can drop in as often as you like to listen and learn. Just show up!

Would you like to help with the program? We can always use snack donations for our classes throughout the year and people to serve as prayer partners (praying for a particular inquirer on your own time). Due to the high interest in the program this year, WE ARE IN PARTICULAR NEED OF SPONSORS (those who come to class each week and support a particular inquirer). Contact the Parish Office at 740-373-3643 if you have questions or wish to volunteer.

This year, the Feast of the Assumption is not a Holy Day of Obligation. There will be no vigil Mass at 6:00 pm today, August 14.

The Feast of the Assumption will be celebrated with Mass at 9:00 am tomorrow, Saturday, August 15.

GARDEN SURPLUS — As our summer gardens hit their peak, many of us find we have more fresh vegetables than we can eat. Please consider donating some to Daily Bread Kitchen. No garden — we are always in need of canned vegetables.

Food can be left at Basilica of St Mary Social Hall, 506 4th St. any day or at DBK Kitchen, K of C building, 312 Franklin St. any Wed before 10:00 AM.

We are incredibly thankful for any donations. By sharing you are ensuring our community has access to nutritious food.
