GIVE YOUR ROSARIES A SECOND LIFE?

Do you have rosaries you are not using tucked away in a drawer? Give them a renewed purpose!

Our parish is collecting gently used rosaries and sending them to those in need around the world, to the poor, the homeless, hospitals, nursing homes, and prisons. Your donation will bring hope, comfort, and the gift of prayer.

Please drop off any rosaries you can part with in the basket located at the parking lot side door. Place them in separate baggies to prevent tangling.

What’s Better than a Sub for Super Bowl Sunday?

Catholic Women in Action (CWC) are taking pre-orders for 6-inch subs for February 8th, Super Bowl Sunday. You can choose from Italian (ham, pepperoni, salami, & provolone cheese) or turkey, and your choice of swiss, colby, pepper jack, or American cheese, plus all the toppings. Subs are being made fresh by Huck’s Market. Cost is $8.00 each.

Orders must be in by February 1st. Please fill out the order form (scroll images to view), put it in an envelope marked CWC, along with your money, and place in the collection basket or send to the rectory. Cash or checks make payable to CWC. Pick up your subs in the social hall after all Masses, weekend of the Super Bowl.

All proceeds go to support the work of Catholic Women in Action (CWC).

Join us for Donut Sunday! As usual, coffee and donuts will be served after the 8AM and 10 AM Masses.

However, after the 10AM Mass, we will be holding a "Happy Retirement!" party for Deacon Lee Weisend and a "Welcome to the Basilica!" party for Father Emmanuel. We hope you can ALL join us in the Basilica’s social hall for donuts, coffee, and fellowship.

Basilica Bible Study with Fr. Edward are the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Social Hall. All parishioners are welcome to attend and dive deeper into the scripture.
Feel free to bring a spouse, partner or friend. Also, you can bring your own bible to use.

The Bible study is hosted by Catholic Women In Action. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made today’s Parish Picnic such a wonderful success! 💙

We are especially grateful to the Knights of Columbus, Parish Council, Catholic Women in Action, and St. Mary Catholic School for all of their hard work and support. From the food and setup to the fellowship and fun, it truly was a team effort.

The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the company was even better. We are so blessed to have such a joyful and supportive parish family. ☀️🙏

Every year, thousands of poor children experience a Christmas without hope. Burdened by poverty, their parents are simply too poor to provide anything but the most basic necessities. Basilica of St. Mary, partnering with Cross Catholic Outreach has committed to help fill “Christmas Boxes of Joy”.

Thousands of impoverished children in Haiti, Guatemala, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Malawi, Grenada, and Peru will receive a Christmas gift that would otherwise receive nothing.

We need your help!

You can buy just a few items or enough to fill an entire box, or more. Perhaps your family can commit to several boxes. Make it a Christmas Family Blessing! Boxes are available at the basilica entrances.

If you do not wish to shop, or are not able, we will shop for you. It costs about $35.00 to fill one box. Send to Basilica of St. Mary, 506 4th St. Marietta, Oh 45750, Attn: Box of Joy, or place in the collection basket. You can pay by credit or debit card in the gift shop. Donations are also needed to ship the boxes.
