2 Chronicles 16:9 says that God is actively looking for people with loyal hearts so He can show up strong in their lives.

If you believe this, and take God at His word, then you will be filled with joy and encouragement. Your response will be to cease from trying to make things happen in your own strength and ability; and rapidly pursue Him, allowing Him to do His work in and through you.

The Bible tells us the gifts and callings of God are irrevocable (Romans 11:29). This lets us know that God gives gifts liberally! His gifts, and the talents he’s given men and women, are abundant in this world; but there’s a difference between being gifted or talented x being the person who can manage those gifts and talents.

God doesn’t want us to just be gifted, He wants us to be profitable (Matthew 25:14-30). That takes maturity; and will require us to put ourselves in environments where we are challenged to improve and become our best selves.
