Jesus said in John 8:44 that Satan was a murderer from the beginning and he has encouraged death in all forms. The Bible commands everyone to not kill regardless of what is the popular opinion in society. Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world so that whosoever wants to receive eternal life from Him!

The Bible states that Christians have eternal life AND there are warning passages about replacing your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation for false religion. The Bible tells us that we must walk by faith, which means we can't walk according to only what we see. Hebrews 11:1 says that when we walk by faith, we have to rely on God to supply what we need, when we need it. It is the only way that we can live a life pleasing to God.

There is a common misconception that there are many ways to heaven or eternal life, but Jesus Christ plainly proclaimed that He is the only way (John 14:6).
