Walking with Moms in Need NEO-St. Joseph Mantua St. We wish to identify local life affirming resources and provide direction and assistance whenever possible to local moms in need.

Joseph Parish in Mantua, Ohio (Diocese of Youngstown) is participating with the nationwide initiative of the USCCB in the launching of Walking with Moms in Need (WWMIN). Our involvement with WWMIN will be to promote an ongoing effort within our parish in learning to “walk in the shoes” of women with unexpected pregnancies and/or mothers facing difficult circumstances. It is our hope that a local WWMIN page will also assist others in NEO that are in search of local resources.

One of the most popular items Walking with Moms in Need tries to provide our local moms in need are strollers. They are normally one of the things we run out of each time. Do you know a mom that may no longer be using a stroller and may consider donating to help another mom in need? Send her our way!

There's a donation bin on the east end of the building at St. Joseph Church. Or you can bring it to the office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Questions? Call the office at 330-274-2253.

One thing many women facing unexpected pregnancies and mothers in difficult parenting situations face is the lack of the father’s support and of his presence. The role of the father is crucial in God’s plan for the family, which stretches beyond the home and even into the health and wellbeing of society. Pray for moms in need, that our Lord would bring God-loving and supportive men into their lives and the lives of their children.
