Many of us have heard the "Great Commission" as a call to support overseas missions and to share our faith with others. But it's so much more! It is a call to Christ's covenanted community to continue following him, and comes with the promise of full participation in fullness of life in God's own triune nature, as we walk together as disciples, and continue to call the world to walk with us as learners, livers, and doers of the gospel! It was a full and wonderful day yesterday celebrating Pentecost, youth transitions, and our graduate, Ray Lewis. Grateful to God for such a lovely community of faith here in Mansfield.

Tomorrow at Mansfield Friends we are celebrating God pouring out his Spirit of fire on ALL flesh (Acts 2). We will be blessing the youth, recognizing graduates, and generally mixing things up with a highly interactive, intentionally intergenerational service. We will celebrate afterwards with food, games, and a bounce house. Join us at 10:30am for worship.
