MEGA SPORTS CAMP SIGN-UPS ARE OPEN! 🏀⚽🙌

We are so excited to bring Mega Sports Camp to Richland County this August, and sign-ups are officially open for both kids and volunteers!

Parents, this is a great opportunity for your kids to have fun, build confidence, play sports, make friends, and be encouraged in a safe, life-giving environment.

And adults we need you too! You do not have to be a coach or sports expert to volunteer. We need help with check-in, games, setup, teams, encouragement, safety, and creating an amazing experience for kids and families in our community.

What terrifies you doesn’t intimidate God.

Nahum reminds us that the things that feel permanent, unbeatable, and impossible are not bigger than God.

Fear has a way of making the problem look like the biggest thing in the room.
The diagnosis.
The anxiety.
The grief.
The future.
The thing you can’t control.

But Nahum doesn’t begin by asking, “How big is the problem?”
Nahum begins by showing us how big God is.

And the good news is this:

“The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in Him.” — Nahum 1:7

The mailbox can make you feel safe, but it cannot save you.

Money can’t save you.
Success can’t save you.
Control can’t save you.
Pretending you’re okay can’t save you.

Only Jesus saves.
Only Jesus restores.
Only Jesus is our refuge.

Stop hiding. Run to Him.

When we choose our own way, destruction follows.
Micah stepped into a corrupt culture and called out what everyone else wanted to ignore: leaders were twisting justice, chasing power, and using people for gain.
But Micah’s message was not just about “them.”
It’s about us, too.
We can choose comfort.
Status.
Money.
Control.
Our own strength.
And when we do, we end up tired, burdened, and far from the One who actually gives life.
But God’s warning is not cruel. It is love.
It is an invitation to come back.
Through Jesus, there is a better way. He restores what is broken, carries what is too heavy for us, and throws our sins into the depths of the sea.
So what does God ask of us?
Do what is right.
Love mercy.
Walk humbly with your God.
There is hope in Jesus.
Save this as a reminder to stop relying on your own strength and return to Him.
