Rumor has it we’re going to get anywhere between 0 and 12 inches of snow starting Saturday into Sunday. We will make the decision by 10 pm Saturday on if we’ll cancel services Sunday morning.
Any church cancellations will be communicated through email, Facebook, Instagram, and WMFD. Sign up for Closing Bell to your Cell on WMFDs website and you’ll get a text if we need to cancel.

Pastor Jeff Poland and Scott Price will be speaking at the Church of the Saviour in Wooster on Sunday, October 12. Student Ministries will be leaving the church at 4:45 PM and the event is from 6-8 PM. Please let Pastor Matt know if your teen plans to attend.

RUSH Camp Day 5 - June 27,2025
Day 5, we made it!
We had our final session, led by Scotty P.

RUSH Camp Day 4 - June 26,2025
It was hot today, but not as hot. 😂
Theme: Camo
We started the morning off with Jerrod Gunter leading the session, Called to be Activated. Jerrod’s message focused on Acts 1:8, Acts 4:8-10, 13-14, Acts 2:1-4, John 7:37-39 and John 15:4-5.
Here are what are note takers, history makers took away from Jerrod’s session
-But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.
-Jesus wants a church that's a river (moves & is active), not a lake that sits there and does nothing.
-"Continue to Abide in him" - To continue.
-Living waters flow from them when they have the spirit.
-We're not meant to be consumers but producers. How many sermons do you need to hear before you go share the gospel?
-You can't be saved and be the same.
-Don't overlook those in front of you.
-You don't realize you need it til you don't have it.
We spent the afternoon in the pool and playing pool. Hayden sprained his ankle, so keep him in prayer. We did our weekly camp service project by cleaning up the basketball courts
This evening Brian Ziegler preached a message on Legacy. It was based on 1 Samuel 17:45-51.
Here are some thoughts that were shared:
-Our legacy is about love.
-Goliath was big but David’s faith was bigger.
-David didn’t wait to be a King to he courageous, he was courageous and then God made him a King.
One more session tomorrow morning and then we come home. Thank you for praying for us this week, we’ve felt them. 💜

RUSH Camp Day 3 - June 25,2025
Third day, continues to be hot. 🥵😂
Theme: Hawaiian
Started the morning off with scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy, the food is pretty good.
Brian Ziegler started morning session off with Be Desperate for the Holy Spirit based on Mark 2. His three points were:
1. Story shows power of authority
2. Have faith that breaks the roof
3. Jesus saw their faith
Most of us spent the afternoon at the pool, you know Pastor Matt is working on his tan. Also, did some shopping at the camp store, ice cream and snack shops. No one goes hungry here.
Jerrod Gunter was back for this evenings session, Fire of Forgiveness, focusing on Isaiah 6:1-8.
Our note taker, history makers had these thoughts afterwards:
-Forgiveness is not with what is said but what is felt.
-True forgiveness turns into felt freedom.
-Jesus forgives all that was broke.
-When you see it you'll know it and then you'll feel it.
-God responds to our brokenness with the fire of forgiveness, that transforms into a felt freedom.
-We choose to forgive.
-True forgiveness is not forgetting it, it’s giving up my right to hold it against you any longer.
-No enemy can hold you down ‘cause there’s no body in the grave now
Looking forward to tomorrow, there’s lots of fun things planned and more sessions to grow our knowledge and relationship with Jesus.
