Day 2 is about to get underway! At 10am we will be having our Annual Membership Meeting! We will have a full day of fun, our annual Chicken Dinner and we will close out our day with a movie and popcorn!

We know that so many of you have a sweet fondness for Zonda and have missed her bright smile. Thank you Tim Neville for sharing this with us. If you grew up at camp you likely knew or have heard of Zonda! Zonda was an integral part of the camp for most of her life. She dearly loved and remained faithful in serving at Light & Life until she could no longer.
Zonda is now in a memory care facility in New Middletown, Ohio. If you would like to bless our dear friend you can send her a card! Just let us know and we will send you her address. Who doesn't like getting mail from friends?!

It is coming back!! We are another step closer to the water tank being completed. Elsa K Kettinger and her daughter Greta graciously used their artistic gift from the Lord to help with this refresh. How awesome to see LeRoy and Wilma Kettinger's legacy live on to the next generation as their family continues to impact Light & Life for Christ!

It is with great rejoicing and great sorrow we share the passing of Rev. Roger S. Lewis. Roger was a faithful pastor in the Free Methodist Ohio Conference for over 30 years. He was active at camp and enjoyed seeing the Lord use Light & Life to share the gospel of Christ. Roger is the father and father-in-law to Chip and Jennie Lewis and the grandfather to Abigail and Ethan Lewis.

Please keep the Lewis family in prayer as they prepare for his memorial service happening Saturday, August 29, 11AM at Christian Fellowship Church in Holland, Ohio.

We would like to express our condolences to the Porter family on the passing of Audrey Porter. Audrey and her late husband Peter did much in caring for the campground over many years and that care was continued by their son Bud and grandsons Matt and Daniel. Our beloved Prayer Chapel is called the Porter Prayer Chapel in remembrance of Audrey and Peter's years of dedication to the camp.

Please keep the Porter family in your prayers as they grieve the loss of Audrey.
