前面的喜乐

来12:2 仰望为我们信心创始成终的耶稣。他因那摆在前面的喜乐，就轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架，便坐在神宝座的右边。 喜乐，是耶稣抵挡十字架的武器。当他面对真实的痛苦时，却没有忘记父神的信实。当他呼喊“我的神，我的神，为什么离弃我”时，却同时坚守信心。这对我们来说几乎是不可理喻的！但是，耶稣却确确实实经历了痛苦和喜乐的张力，并且救赎了我们的信心。 当潘霍华在人生最后的阶段辗转于盖世太保的各个监狱时，他的一名英国狱友评价他说，潘霍华牧师总是被快乐和喜乐的氛围萦绕，并总是为最不起眼的事深怀感恩。他对自己还活着深怀感恩。(Life together, introduction, p13. 笔者译）为什么他有这般的勇气？因为他的眼睛注视着更好的奖赏，是耶稣为他所得的。 亚伯拉罕远远望见神的应许，就脱离了吾尔荣华富贵的生活，余生都住在帐篷里。摩西因着信，就抛弃了法老女儿之子的地位，甘愿和同胞一起受苦。还有其他种种信心前辈的事迹都被列举在希伯来书的第十一章。他们都本是平凡之人，却帮助我们看见仰望耶稣带出的喜乐。 我们都好像是在赛场上奔跑的运动员，我们的眼睛紧紧盯住终点线。虽然这个世界有无数种声音勾引我们脱离赛道，并加上罪的缠累，但希伯来书的作者却劝诫我们牢牢定睛在耶稣身上。如何知道我们是否在仰望他呢？我想“喜乐”一定是一个重要的标志。它是一种希望的火苗，在绝无可能的时候点亮着我们的心。让我们再次回想起耶稣的生命，并且鼓励我们往前走。 思考： 今天有什么人、事、物正试图夺取我们在耶稣里的喜乐呢？ 耶稣的榜样怎样帮助我们回到信心里面？ 祷告： 亲爱的阿爸天父，谢谢你赐给我们如此多信心的见证人，让我们在这些原本平凡的人身上看见你大能的作为。唯有你是我们信心的源头，也将带领我们走完信心的道路。求你帮助我们定睛在耶稣身上，靠着喜乐抵挡一切挑战。奉主耶稣基督的名，阿门！
