We were so blessed to have Lieutenant Commander Byron Johnson and his family with us this past Sunday. As a church, we have adopted him to love, support, and pray for him as he serves as a Navy Chaplain.

If you'd like information on how to send letters or care packages to the Johnsons, contact the church office!

Dover Baptist Church was founded in 1773 and has an important place in American Baptist history. We were blessed to host a Baptist History tour yesterday and fellowship with people from all across the country. What a blessing! Thanks to all who volunteered to make this event possible.

On Sunday we celebrated Promotion Sunday! This year Jersey is graduating from the nursery to our elementary age Sunday School class and we are so very proud of her!

THANK YOU to everyone who came out, donated, and hand-crafted baby items for our baby shower for the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond. And thank you to the Executive Director, Robin Desrosier, for joining us and speaking today. 🤰👶❤

Tomorrow! Our WMU is hosting a Baby Shower for the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond.

This Christian organization helps connect women facing unplanned pregnancy with education, resources, and supplies. The items needed most are mini-size baby shampoo/body wash, diaper rash cream, pacifiers, and pacifier holders/clips.

A light lunch will follow. All are welcome to join in.

Save The Date! Deacons and anyone interested in learning more about biblical deacon ministry are invited to join us for Deacon Training on Saturday, August 29, from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

This will be a valuable morning of instruction, encouragement, and fellowship as we consider the calling and work of faithful servant leadership in the local church.
