What does it mean to be truly blessed?

Most people think of blessing in terms of wealth, success, comfort, or good circumstances. Yet Jesus paints a very different picture in the Beatitudes.

In Matthew 5, He describes the kind of heart that belongs in His kingdom and the kind of life that finds favor with God.

Join us as Darrell Simon examines the opening words of the Sermon on the Mount and the timeless lessons Jesus taught about true blessing.

What kind of people does Jesus use?

When Jesus began His ministry, He did not choose kings, celebrities, or religious elites. He called fishermen, a tax collector, and other ordinary men.

Those ordinary men would help carry the gospel to the world.

The same Lord who called them still calls people today to follow Him, serve others, and put His kingdom first.

In this lesson, we examine the calling of Jesus' apostles and the challenge their example presents to every one of us.

What happens when we stop trying to magnify ourselves and start pointing people to Jesus?

In John 3, John the Baptist gives one of the most humble and powerful statements in Scripture: “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

This lesson looks at humility, pride, and what it means to truly follow Christ in a world focused on self.

We hope this study encourages you to open God’s Word and think more deeply about Jesus and the life He calls us to live.

“Prepare the Way of the Lord” (Luke 3) is now available on YouTube.

In Luke 3, John the Baptist was sent to prepare hearts for the coming of Christ. His message still speaks today: repent, turn to God, and prepare your heart for the Lord.

If you enjoy studying the Bible with us, we would love for you to watch and share.

How did Jesus grow?

Luke 2 gives us a rare glimpse into the childhood of Jesus, and what we find is powerful. At twelve years old, Jesus was listening, learning, asking questions, and focused on His Father’s business.

This lesson looks at what spiritual growth really looks like, not just for children, but for every one of us. If you’ve ever wondered what God wants spiritual maturity to look like, this sermon is worth watching.

What do you do when life feels uncertain, chaotic, or even frightening?

In Luke 2 and Matthew 2, we see very different responses to Jesus. Simeon waited in faith. The wise men sought and worshiped the King. Herod responded with fear and hostility.

The same question still matters today: How will we respond to Jesus?

If you need hope, peace, and certainty in an unstable world, this sermon points us to the One who fulfills every promise. Watch here! ❤️

Most people probably wouldn’t list a genealogy as their favorite Bible reading. But what if those names tell a much bigger story?

In this sermon, Darrell Simon shows why Jesus’ genealogy matters and how Matthew 1 and Luke 3 reveal God’s faithfulness, fulfilled prophecy, and the identity of Jesus as the promised Savior.

Every part of God’s Word has purpose.

Have you ever read the Bible for yourself?

This week’s readings take us through Malachi, Daniel, several Psalms, 1 Thessalonians, and Philemon. We will read about God calling His people back to sincere worship, Daniel’s courage in a foreign land, and the hope and instruction given to Christians in the New Testament.

In a world full of opinions, traditions, and religious confusion, the Bible gives us something far better: truth from God Himself.

MON 4: Catch-Up Day
Optional: Psalm 119:1–40

TUE 5: Malachi 1–4, Psalms 71 & 73
WED 6: Daniel 1–5, Psalm 74
THU 7: Daniel 6–10, Psalm 75
FRI 8: Daniel 11–12, Psalms 76–78
SAT 9: 1 Thessalonians 1–5, Philemon

We invite you to read along with us this week. Open God’s Word and see what He says.

Life can feel busy, uncertain, and heavy at times. It is easy to look around and see the trouble in the world, the sin around us, and the things that seem out of control.

But the birth of Jesus reminds us of something far greater.

God kept His promises. The Savior came into the world. The good news announced in Luke 2 is still good news today.

In this lesson from our series, Tell Me the Story of Jesus, Craig looks at the birth of Christ and why it gives us reason to rejoice, be thankful, and praise God.

We hope you will take time to watch and study with us.
