In this message we contrast the way Eve handled the temptation to sin with similar temptations that Jesus endured. Both had the opportunity to glorify the Father or take their own path. Eve failed, but Jesus showed the example of how a follower can glorify God.

Life is hard. We all deal with tragedy and no one is immune from it. Still, the Scriptures teach us in Romans that God is working for those that love Him. We want this to mean that He will protect us from all 'bad' things but instead it means He will sustain us through them. It starts with you loving Him and giving your life to Him. Then He will secure your eternal destiny to be with Him.

In Luke 9 Jesus gives His well known teaching that His disciples must take up their cross and follow Him. Being a follower of Jesus is not always easy but we don't have to do it alone and there are blessings that come from it.

Tonight we had Fields of Faith. We had drinks, cookies, and Takis. Our girls did a great job leading. Dylan brought the messages answered a list of questions they had. God is good!!
