We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the judoka and their parents who generously volunteered their Father’s Day weekend at the last Makawao Hongwanji Bazaar and Rummage Sale. From parking cars as early as 5 a.m. to lifting heavy boxes/shelves and helping with the setup and breakdown in the weeks prior, your dedication and hard work made a big difference. Your willingness to give your time and energy reflects the true spirit of community and service that sustains the temple and our practice space. We are deeply grateful, as this effort plays an important role in helping keep the temple financially afloat through this vital fundraiser. Mahalo! 🥋

Be mindful of SCAM emails that pretend to be from Hongwanji or BCA ministers asking for money!

Don’t click or reply — just delete!

Beware of suspicious emails that use minister names in "phishing" attempts... don't take the bait.
