Sunday Recap | John 6:1-15

Pastor Canada preached from the familiar story of the feeding of the five thousand, reminding us that God can do extraordinary things with what seems small and insufficient.

Using a boy's lunch of five loaves and two fish, Jesus showed that what is placed in His hands becomes more than enough. The challenge was great, the resources were limited, but the miracle happened when what little they had was surrendered to the Lord.

Key takeaway: There is a miracle in what you have if you will just learn to turn it over to the Lord.

When life's challenges seem bigger than your resources, don't focus on what you lack. Give it to Jesus and trust Him to do what only He can do.

Pastor Canada's Children's Day message reminded us that Jesus calls all believers to have childlike faith.

From Matthew 18:1-4, we were challenged to embrace three qualities that children naturally demonstrate:

• Trusting God completely
• Humility before God and others
• Forgiving those who have hurt us

Jesus taught that greatness in God's kingdom is not found in status or recognition, but in a humble heart that trusts Him and follows His will.

No matter what season of life we're in, God calls us to keep Him first and to be about our Father's business.
