Sometimes protecting what’s comfortable can cost us what’s right. Eli’s misplaced loyalty reminds us that obedience to God has to come before our attachments, relationships, and comfort.

Don’t focus so much on getting the position that you neglect becoming the person who can handle it. 🙏🏾

Correction isn’t always comfortable, and your child may not understand it in the moment. But loving them means being willing to set boundaries, teach them right from wrong, and tell them the truth, even when they don’t want to hear it.

You don’t have to be your child’s favorite. Be the parent who loves them enough to guide them. ❤️
