We exist to minister to the body of Christ by nurturing the saints and reaching out to those who don't know Christ. We offer Christ-centered camps and retreats that are biblically sound and relationally strong, providing godly leadership for age sensitive programming in a fun-filled environment. Summer camps for kids and youth run May-August, and our facilities are exclusively available for use by church groups and para church ministries for spiritual retreats during the rest of the year.

Kids Camp A is here!

After weeks of preparation, training, and prayer, Summer 2026 is officially underway. Our staff team is excited to welcome campers and begin another week of building relationships for eternal impact.

This week we are praying specifically for Nick, Grace, Sadie, Bo, Anna, SaraBeth and for our speaker Ryan Coatney!

Staff Training is complete.

All that remains is today’s Sabbath rest and tonight’s commissioning service as we send this team into a summer of building relationships for eternal impact. For 76 years, God has been at work through the ministry that takes place in these woods. Now, this staff prepares to take their place in that story — serving, teaching, encouraging, and pointing campers to Jesus.

Would you join us in praying for Summer 2026? Pray for our staff. Pray for the campers who will soon arrive. Pray that the Lord would move powerfully in and through Lake Forest Ranch this summer.

If you looked through these photos, you might think Staff Training is nothing but games, laughter, and happy chaos. And honestly… that’s part of it.

But underneath the team-building games and late-night volleyball is something deeper taking shape. A staff learning how to serve together. How to encourage one another. How to prepare their hearts for a summer full of Gospel conversations and ministry that reaches far beyond these few weeks.

Building relationships for eternal impact starts here — with this team — and prayerfully extends to every person who walks through these pines this summer.

Today feels quiet.

The lake is still. The cabins sit waiting. There’s a calm across camp that only exists for a moment each year — the final deep breath before summer begins again.

Tomorrow, staff arrive and then the whirlwind begins as we prepare for these woods to be filled once more with worship, laughter, and the good news of Jesus.

We’re grateful for the ways the Lord has carried us through these past months since last summer ended, and we’re full of anticipation for what He will do in Summer 2026.

If you think of us, pray for this place. Pray for the young people who will soon gather here. Pray for the counselors preparing to serve. Pray that in these woods, many would come to know the nearness of Christ.
