In a world that constantly reminds us of what we lack, it’s easy to feel discontent no matter what you have. But if we keep chasing after what the world desires, we will never find lasting satisfaction.
Join us this weekend as we discover the source of true satisfaction.

BE TRUTHFUL: WORSHIP THE GOD OF TRUTH.

EXODUS 20:16
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”

JOHN 8:31-33, 44
31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” 33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, ‘You will become free’?”
44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is

The first four of the Ten Commandments deal with our vertical relationship with God, while the next six focus on our horizontal relationships with others. The ninth commandment instructs us: “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.” God calls us to love and protect one another by living in truth—both in public settings, such as the legal system, and in our private, everyday relationships.

1. TRUTH SETS US FREE (John 8:31-36, Genesis 3:1-5, John 8:44, Revelation 21:8)

2. TRUTH STRENGTHENS RELATIONSHIPS (Ephesians 4:15-16, 5:6-13, 1 John 1:8-9)

3. TRUTH SAVES (John 8:34-35, 14:6, Acts 5:1-5, John 10:7-11, Revelation 21:5, Proverbs 3:5-6

When we find ourselves falling into gossip or speaking falsely about others, let us remember that God calls us to walk in truth. May this verse encourage us to choose honesty, honor God with our words, and guard the relationships He has given us.

Why do we lie even when we know the truth matters? Whether it's to protect ourselves, avoid consequences, or gain approval, dishonesty often reveals something deeper happening in our hearts.

This weekend, join us as we unpack the 9th Commandment: “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor,” and discover God's design for living with truth, integrity, and trust.

GOD PROVIDES: DO NOT STEAL, BLESS OTHERS

EXODUS 20:15
“You shall not steal.”
EPHESIANS 4:28
He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with one who has need.
The Greek word for “steal” is klepto, while the Hebrew word is ganab—meaning “to carry away secretly,” “to deceive,” or “to take what is not yours.”

True worship is our proper response to who God is, what He has done, and what He continues to do.

RECOGNIZE the many ways we steal (Malachi 3:8, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Jeremiah 23:30-32, Isaiah 42:8)

REPENT of the heart behind stealing (Psalm 24:1, Psalm 23:1, Philippians 4:19, Genesis 3:4-5, Jeremiah 17:11, James 5:4-6, John 10:10a, Joshua 7:1, 2 Samuel 11)

REPLACE taking with blessing (Ephesians 4:28, Acts 20:35, Exodus 22:1,3,7,9, Colossians 2:13-14, Romans 6:23, John 3:16

When we find ourselves inclined to take shortcuts or compromise, God reminds us that even in our lack, He provides through faithful and giving hearts. Let this memory verse be a loving reminder to always choose integrity even when it’s difficult because God is always faithful.

God Provides: Do not steal, Bless Others! | Peter Tan-Chi Jr. | May 24, 2026

In uncertain times, it can be tempting to justify even small acts of stealing. But these compromises often reveal how little we trust in God’s provision. Stealing is not only a reflection of our character, but also of our faith. True worship means trusting God not just in seasons of abundance, but also in moments of uncertainty—believing in His plans, provision, and promises through every season.

Sunday service followed by Intentional Discipleship Training (IDT).

NO ADULTERY! BE FAITHFUL BECAUSE GOD IS FAITHFUL

EXODUS 20:1-2, 14
Then God spoke all these words, saying, 2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

14 “You shall not commit adultery.”
To “adulterate” means to make something impure by adding a foreign substance—something that lowers its quality. Our lives are gifts from God, yet when we disobey Him, we allow sin to contaminate what He intended to be pure.

The commandments God gave reflect who He is. Before giving the Ten Commandments, He first revealed Himself (Exodus 20:1–2). Because of who God is, He commands, “You shall not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14). His laws are not meant to restrict us, but to set us free—to bring joy, peace, and order into our lives.

Obedience to God is true worship—our proper response to who He is, what He has done, and what He continues to do.

1. Deadly Disease: The ADULTERY Pandemic (Leviticus 20:10, Deuteronomy 22:22, Malachi 2:13-14, 2 Samuel 11:1-4, Matthew 5:27-28, Matthew 15:19, Jeremiah 5:7, Ezekiel 23:37, James 4:4, Revelation 2:4, 2 Corinthians 11:2-3)

2. Divine Cure: The FAITHFULNESS of God (2 Timothy 2:13, Lamentations 3:22-23)
