WE’RE STILL REJOICING! 🙌🏾

Yesterday at The Garden, 3 souls were baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Pastor McNeil preached “WHEN I COME OUT” from Matthew 28:18–19, Acts 2:37–38, and Romans 6:4, and then we watched the Word come alive at the water.

But yesterday wasn’t the finish line for these three.

It was the starting line.

Romans 6:4 teaches us that we are buried with Christ by baptism so that we can rise to walk in newness of life.

So today, we’re not only celebrating that they went down in Jesus’ Name. We’re praying for the walk that begins after they came out.

May they grow in the Word.
May they grow in prayer.
May they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
May The Garden surround them with love, discipleship, and encouragement every step of the way.

3 baptized. 3 new walks beginning. One saving Name……JESUS! 🙌🏾

The water wasn’t the end.

WHAT A SUNDAY AT THE GARDEN! 🙌🏾

Today was a powerful Baptism Sunday as we ministered from the subject “WHEN I COME OUT” — Matthew 28:18–19, Acts 2:37–38, and Romans 6:4.

We were reminded that baptism is more than a moment in the water. It marks the beginning of a new walk with Jesus Christ.

Matthew showed us the authority of Jesus.
Acts showed us the Name of Jesus.
Romans showed us the new life that should follow our encounter with Jesus.

We spend a lot of time talking about how we go down, but today we focused on how we come out.

When I come out, Jesus is my Lord.

When I come out, I have been identified with the Name of Jesus Christ.

When I come out, I am called to walk in newness of life.

The water isn’t a graduation ceremony where we declare that we’ve arrived. It’s a starting line. You may come out still growing, still learning, and still being developed, but you ought to come out headed in a new direction!

And today we watched the Word come alive as 3 SOULS WERE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! 🌊🙌🏾

Three souls responded to the Gospel.

Three went down in Jesus’ Name.

Three came up with a new walk ahead of them.

And as a church, our responsibility is not simply to celebrate them at the water, but to walk with them after the water to pray, encourage, teach, love, and disciple them as they grow in Christ.

The water is not the end.

IT’S WHERE THE WALK BEGINS.

We thank God for what He continues to do at The Garden. JESUS is still saving, the Word is still working, and lives are still being changed! 🌱🙌🏾

Last night at The Garden, we began our new Bible Study series on BAPTISM with the lesson:

“WHY MUST I BE BAPTIZED?”
Acts 2:37–38

We went deeper into the Word concerning the biblical purpose and importance of water baptism. We learned that baptism is more than a church tradition or religious ceremony. It is a biblical response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When the people on the Day of Pentecost were convicted and asked, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Peter gave them a clear answer:

“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ…” — Acts 2:38

We’re not interested in simply doing something because it has always been done. We want to know what the Bible says, understand why we believe it, and be able to stand firmly on the Word of God!

We’re just getting started! There’s so much more to uncover as we continue going deeper in the Word at The Garden!

🚨 DAY 2 UPDATE FROM THE GARDEN! 🌿🙌🏽

WE’RE ALMOST FINISHED!!!

What a difference! Our building has been pressure washed, and today they’re putting the finishing touches on cleaning our steeple!

There’s something exciting about watching God’s house being refreshed!

We’re grateful for PROGRESS, grateful for PROVISION, and grateful for every person who faithfully gives to help us continue taking care of what God has entrusted to us!

The Garden is looking GOOD! 🌿🔥

And we’re not done yet… FORWARD! 🙌🏽

TAKING CARE OF GOD’S HOUSE! 🙌🏽

Today, we’re getting our building pressure washed and our steeple cleaned!

Maintaining a building of this size can be a challenge at times, but God has continuously blessed The Garden and given us the resources to take care of what He has entrusted to us.

We are so thankful for every person who faithfully gives through tithes, offerings, and seeds. Your giving helps make projects like this possible!

Every gift matters. Every seed makes a difference. And together, we’re taking care of God’s house!

Thank you for helping us keep The Garden growing, improving, and moving FORWARD!

What an AWESOME ALL IN SUNDAY at The Garden!

God met us in a mighty way today, and we are grateful for the ministry of our guest speaker, Pastor Derrick Hutchins II!

He preached a powerful Word from Acts 4 entitled:

“NOTABLE MIRACLES”

We were reminded that when God gets ready to move, He can do something so undeniable and so NOTABLE that nobody can argue with the evidence!

And we’re celebrating because ONE NEW MEMBER joined The Garden today! 🌿

THE GARDEN IS STILL GROWING!

We’re believing that this is a season of NOTABLE MIRACLES in our church, our families, and our lives!
