The message below is on behalf of Mr. Bernard McDaniel, Sr. Superintendent.

Severe weather conditions that may include thunderstorms, high wind gusts, heavy rainfall, and hail are expected on Friday, January 12, 2024. Due to the impending weather conditions, all schools will dismiss early on Friday, January 12, 2024.

Elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m., Lee Central Middle School will dismiss at 12:00 noon, and Lee Central High School will dismiss at 12:15 p.m.

On December 1, 2023, please join Sumter Alumnae's Health Task Force Committee at the North Hope Center from 12pm - 4pm for the World AIDS Day event. There will be various health vendors to check blood pressure, glucose levels, AIDS/HIV testing, etc. along with food, prizes, and more.

Facts about World AIDS Day: It is observed on December 1st each year and is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection.

Come out to Get the Facts, Get tested, and Get involved. This is a free event and we look forward to seeing you there!
