Pentecost Sunday - “The Birthday of the Church,” is the Christian celebration that marks the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples after the resurrection and ascension of Jesus (Acts 2).

During Pentecost, the disciples were gathered together when a sound like a mighty rushing wind filled the house, and tongues of fire appeared over them. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in different languages, allowing people from many nations to hear the gospel in their own tongue.
