✨Important Connect Conference Information✨

If you registered for the Connect Conference on June 21-26, this is for you!! You should have received an email from the dean last week. If you did not, please let me know ASAP so I can forward it to you, (and figure out why you didn’t receive one!).

Overview :
🔹New this year, is a custom built app for Connect 26. It has the full week schedule, camp map, speaker info, elective assignments, and more. It works completely offline so no data is needed once it’s on your phone.
🔸Also new this year are Connect Electives. A 70 minute activity Monday - Thursday that you choose before you arrive to camp. These fill up fast, so we suggest choosing yours NOW.
🔹Off-Campus night is at Wayne Lanes Bowling this year, MS & HS will be on separate nights.
🔸ALL campers check-in on the Camp side at 5:15P on 6/21.
🔹Missions is Lifeline Christian Mission and we will be packing meals. Suggested Missions Offering is $20.

🌷In honor of Mother’s Day next week, tonight we learned about 5 mothers from the Bible. The kids knew a lot about them, but they learned a lot too! Mary, Jochebed, Hannah, Lois and Eunice. We also made chocolate covered pretzels and cards for our mothers.

🥔We played a new game tonight … ‘bring something random to youth group’. 🤣 We will play this on the 1st Sunday of every month! Be ready with your random item from home!

✨No Youth Group next week due to Mother’s Day. We will have our monthly Bible Study on 5/13, and then our special event, ‘Bigger is Better’ on 5/17!

📣LCC Middle Schoolers doing BIG THINGS!📣

Congratulations to Emilee!! For her Introduction to Engineering and Design class, her project was to invent something or make improvements to something that solved a problem. She and her partner invented the ‘Convert-A-Cleat’ and took 1st place at the 9-12th grade showcase! She’s an 8th grader taking a freshman class! Way to go, Emilee!

Anyone else doing BIG THINGS? Let us know and we’d love to shout it out! We love celebrating our kids who are doing big things at school and within the community, all the while shining brightly for Jesus wherever they go.

Retro Game Night ✨ 2 Timothy 4:7 encourages believers to live with endurance, stay faithful through challenges, and finish their lives committed to God.

Tonight, our MS and HS students rotated through video game stations and enjoyed alternate activities based on that theme verse. 🎮🕹️

It’s was a great night of fun and fellowship!

Congrats to Elle - she was voted by her peers as best character clay sculpture! Congrats to McKenna and Liam for winning the Lego Minecraft raffle! 👏🏻🎉
