Stewardship Season is here at First Christian Church of Louisville! ❤️

Together, we’re building a bigger table where everyone has a place, everyone brings something, and everyone is sent.

A little help for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Forgotten Louisville is a local ministry that serves people experiencing homelessness in the Louisville area, providing practical supplies and support to people who often have very little.

They have a few new needs in addition to their ongoing needs. Right now, they are especially in need of wet wipes and toilet paper. Small packs or individually wrapped items are probably best and easiest to distribute.

If you’re able to help, please consider picking up a few items the next time you’re shopping. Bring items to church. Every little bit makes a difference! ❤️

📚 **I Read This Book So You Don’t Have To!**

This Wednesday, we’re kicking off a new multi-week series with a simple idea: each week, someone else does the reading—and shares what they discovered with the rest of us!😂

Each week, a different person will give a short book report about a spiritual book they’ve read. They’ll tell us what the book is about, share some of the ideas that stood out to them, and then we’ll have time for questions and conversation.

**And here’s the important part: You do NOT have to read the book!** There’s no homework, no required reading, and no quiz. Just show up, listen, ask questions, and join the conversation. We’ll close with prayer and be finished by 8pm (or sooner!).

💻 **We meet on Zoom every Wednesday from 7:00–8:00pm. Contact Pastor Jerry at [email protected] for the Zoom link.

Dena Vitale will kick things off this Wednesday with our first book report!

Come join us. Someone else has already read the book. You just get to hear the good stuff! 📖

I Read This Book So You Don't Have To – Online Study

Don't have time to read every great spiritual book? Let someone else do the reading! Beginning Wednesday, September 9, and continuing weekly through October, join us at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom as a church member shares a 15-minute review of a meaningful spiritual book, followed by discussion and prayer. It's a great way to discover new books, gain fresh perspectives, and grow in faith!

Have a book that's inspired or challenged you? We'd love for you to share it with the group! Contact Dena at [email protected] if you're interested in presenting a book you've read.
