Our April Showers Bring May Blessings Drive for St. MAM was completed today. We as a church donated over 9000 items. These items include 1,475 baby diapers, 5,281 baby wipes, baby bath essentials, and vitamins, toothbrushes, and combs for young ones and 1,477 diapers and pads for adults. Thank you to so many of you who donated items AND gave time to sort and deliver to St. MAM. Thanks, too, to our MomLife at St. Matthews Baptist Church Wednesday group who helped to sort and count donations and assembled treat bags for moms and gifted puzzle books for seniors. As items were donated and as items were taken to St. MAM and as the items will be given to our St. Matthews neighbors in need, we offer prayers asking God to bless the recipients. Thank you, SMBC!

SMBC’s Mission Garden had its first harvest of 2026 today! These lettuce and spinach leafy greens will be donated to our ministry partner, St. MAM, for their food bank to help our St. Matthews neighbors in need. We are so thankful for all the volunteers who give time and energy to serve God by working in the Garden!

If you'd like to help in the Mission Garden, call the church office 896-8882 and they'll connect you with the garden team. Green thumbs not required!
