WEDNESDAY WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT from our Presiding Bishop!
“Inestimable Value”
Scripture: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…” — John 3:16
Saints, good morning. For a few moments, I want to remind you of something the world cannot measure and the enemy cannot deny: your inestimable value.
John 3:16 tells us that God so loved the world that He gave. What did He give? Not silver or gold, but His only begotten Son. Peter reminds us that we were redeemed not with corruptible things, but with the precious blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:18–19). Paul declares, “Ye are bought with a price” (1 Corinthians 6:20). The gift of John 3:16 came at the highest cost heaven could pay.
Never forget this truth: the price reveals the value. God did not give His Son because we earned it, but because He loved us. Romans 5:8 says that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Calvary was God’s declaration of what you are worth to Him.
This is why our worth is not found in ourselves, but in Christ. Your value was not established by your best day, nor can it be diminished by your worst. No failure, critic, or devil can undo what the blood has already settled. Jesus paid it all, and the account was settled long ago.
So before we conclude this morning, declare it with confidence: “I am bought with a price. My value is inestimable. Jesus paid it all!”
Now lift your hands and thank Him, not for what you deserve, but for what He gave.
To God be the glory.
