Holy Cross Lutheran Church Holy Cross is a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church located in Los Gatos, California.

We are called to connect people to His Son, Jesus Christ, and to show God's love by caring for each other, our guests and visitors, and our community.

God's Love Confronts Sin is the theme for September 6, the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost.

The Reflection Verse is Matthew 18:15, 15 "If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.

The Scripture readings are Ezekiel 33:7-9, Romans 13:1-10, Matthew 18:1-20.

Prayer
O God, from whom all good proceeds, grant to us, Your humble servants, Your holy inspiration, that we may set our minds on the things that are right and, by Your merciful guiding, accomplish them; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen

Dear Friends in Christ,

"Cross Words: The Lord’s Prayer" is the theme for August 30, the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost.

The Reflection Verse is Matthew 6:9, “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name…”

The Scripture readings are Isaiah 29:17-24, Romans 11:1-2a, 13-15, 28-32, Matthew 6:5-15.

Prayer
Almighty God, our heavenly Father, has had mercy upon us and has given His only Son to die for us and for His sake forgives us all our sins. To those who believe on His name He gives power to become the children of God and has promised them His Holy Spirit. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. Grant this, Lord, unto us all. Amen
