Dear Friends in Christ,

Table Fellowship with Sinners is the theme for the Second Sunday after Pentecost.

The Reflection Verse is Matthew 9:10, 10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples.

The Scripture readings are Hosea 5:15-6:6, Romans 4:13-25, Matthew 9:9-13

Prayer
Almighty and most merciful God, You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to seek and to save the lost. Graciously open our ears and our hearts to hear His call and to follow Him by faith that we may feast with Him forever in His kingdom; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen

Save the Date for all Holy Cross members aged 18 and up!

On June 28th, we will be having our June 2026 Voter's Meeting right after our regular Sunday Service. Holy Cross holds these Congregational Voter's Meetings twice every year -- once in January and once in June.

We will be hearing several reports from Holy Cross's elected officials and staff, including our Pastor, President, Treasurer, and more! So if you would like to have a say in the direction of our Church, or would just like to be in the know, don't hesitate to stay for the meeting.

The meeting will last roughly an hour, and we will have food provided. It's totally free to attend and enjoy, all we ask is for a free-will donation to help cover the cost of food.

The June Men's Breakfast will be held on Saturday, June 6th, at 8:00am. You are invited to this opportunity for Christian fellowship with Holy Cross. The Men's Bible Study has been going strong at Holy Cross for many years now - This session will be held in-person at the Church, in the Celebration Center -- so look for us there.

Our group is fun, informal, and we have discussions on a wide range of subjects.
We will provide a hot dish and drinks, so your part is to bring an open heart for the Lord, a cheerful attitude, and an appetite. Newcomers are welcome!

Holy Cross invites you to celebrate 250 years of America with us!

We will be holding a special outdoor worship service at 9:30 on Sunday, July 5th, to celebrate the 4th of July, which is the day before. The service will feature our very own brass band, The King's Brass, and the service is open to everyone! That includes guests and visitors!

Right afterwards, we will hold a Patriotic Parade, which is a great family event!
Following the parade, we will have our Community Picnic, which is also open to everyone! We will have a bunch of volunteers working hard in our commercial kitchen making tons of food, so don't be afraid to invite your friends and family to join us for church and stay for food!

On top of everything else, we will also be having A BOUNCE HOUSE for all of the little ones!

We'd love to have you join us!

What a Sunday it was yesterday at Holy Cross!

We celebrated THREE baptisms -- welcome to Kayleigh, Carter, and Kylie! It is such a joy to see our community grow in faith, and we are so glad to have you with us. 🎉

Pastor Koschmann also took a moment to recognize three of our youth who are graduating right now -- congratulations to Jake, Columba, and Kenny! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what comes next.

We also had a wonderful sermon from Pastor Koschmann titled "The Promise of God's Power and God's Presence," about what God promises to each of us and how we can spread his word and be active members of our church and community. It will be live on Facebook, YouTube, and Spotify TOMORROW at 5:00pm PDT -- don't miss it!

And a big thank you to our organist, Kathy Ferguson, for the beautiful music yesterday!

Dear Friends in Christ,

The Promise of God's Power and God's Presence is the theme for The Holy Trinity.

The Reflection Verse is Matthew 28:18-20, 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

The Scripture readings are Genesis 1:1-2:4a, Acts 2:14a, 22-36, Matthew 28:16-20.

Prayer
Almighty and everlasting God, You have given us grace to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity by the confession of a true faith and to worship the Unity in the power of the Divine Majesty. Keep us steadfast in this faith and defend us from all adversities; for You, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, live and reign, one God, now and forever. Amen

Every Summer, Holy Cross holds our annual weeklong Vacation Bile School!

VBS begins July 27th and runs through 31st. Daily sessions begin at 8:45 AM and go through 12:30 PM. We have all sorts of fun and educational activities and electives for your kids to have a blast doing! The usual activities include: Baking, Friendship Bracelet Making, Painting, Planting, Toy Building, and more!

Age Groups are:
Preschool - Age 3 to children entering Kindergarten
Elementary / Middle - Children/Youth entering grades 1-8
On Friday, July 31st, will be our Barbecue, Closing Worship, and Faith Celebration Carnival. All are welcome!
