Here's the insight reading for our 9/13/26 worship service.

Pema Chodron wrote: “It helps to remember that our spiritual practice is not about accomplishing anything - not about winning or losing - but about ceasing to struggle and relaxing as it is.”

Pema Chodron is an American Buddhist nun. She is the author of 20 books, including "Awakening Loving-Kindness", "Start Where You Are: A Guide to Compassionate Living" and "When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times".

Children's & Youth Sing-along | Forgive One Another

On September 13 our scripture is Matthew 18:21-35, about how God wants us to forgive one another. When we forgive, we decide to throw away bad feelings about the person who hurt our feelings. Being free from those bad feelings is good for us and makes us feel happier. Forgiveness is up to us - we don’t have to wait for someone to apologize for what they did. As this week’s song says, “Forgive, forgive, forgive one another, even as God has forgiven you.”
