The joy of Eastertide continues to abound! This Saturday, we journeyed to Grace Cathedral to celebrate the confirmation of one of our members. As Kim received strength from the Holy Spirit through collective prayer and the laying on of hands by Bishop Austin, we rejoiced in receiving her into the fellowship of the Episcopal Church after a fruitful season of preparation in our "Episcopal 101" adult formation class. We are tremendously proud of Kim, and filled with gratitude that she has chosen to faithfully discern, explore, and embrace belonging in the Episcopal Church.

Alleluia, alleluia! 🌟

We are thrilled to be at Silicon Valley PRIDE for our second year alongside our ecumenical and interfaith partners, as well as Ventana School. We are so grateful to partner with Community Services Agency to serve and support our neighbors here in the South Bay. As we do so, we reground ourselves in our call to be a community of care and solidarity, and we remember our need for one another as kindred in the family of God. With humility and hope, we join our voices with the Psalmist, remembering: "For I am but a sojourner with you, a wayfarer, as all my forebears were" (Psalm 39:14). May we always strive to make the way a little easier for the ones whose feet are weary. 🙏👣🙏

We are proud to be an LGBTQ+ affirming congregation here in the heart of Silicon Valley. Supporting our kindred in the Diocese of California at SF Pride is one of the ways that we live into our baptismal vows to "strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being."
