Availability: Many say that they want to do something for the Lord and church, but too many people don't make themselves available to serve God by not making themselves available to the local church by not attending.
You can't be used if you don't show up and/or come to church just once in a while, when you feel like it.
If you really want to be used and/or do something for the Lord and church, then faithfully show up and make yourself available. It's almost like some people will say let me do something or give me a job or a title then I'll show up to church and attend. But the reality is you need to show up first. The Bible says "do not forsake assembling yourselves as many have". I believe part of the problem is people are led by their feelings, their flesh, instead of the Spirit of God. It's like, if they don't feel that some people like them in church or if they have a problem with somebody, that gives them a reason not to go to church. Most of the time are feelings deceive us and we get stinking thinking. I go to church not to please man but to please God. It doesn't matter if everyone loves me or no one loves me. I go to church to serve God because that's what He wants.
Jesus said "these people honor me with their lips but their heart is far from it". If you truly want to be used by God in the local church, then put your whole heart into it, be faithful be available and be teachable.
Availability: God can do great things through our lives, for His Glory and Kingdom when we make ourselves available.
