The Reformed Episcopal Church
A Faithful Anglican Witness Established December 2, 1873
For over a century and a half, the Reformed Episcopal Church has emained faithful to the inerrant Word of God Powerfully proclaimed the unchanging Gospel of Jesus Christ worshipped using the Biblical & time-honored Book of Common Prayer
In these uncertain times - amidst changing values, moral decline, spiritual questioning and the advance of secular humanism - it's good to know that there is a Christian Church that still offers a timely message to the uncertainty of our time. This alternative is consistent with God's Holy Word. It focuses worship on Almighty God and not on man. It is an alternative which is rich in biblical preaching and consistent with the English Protestant Reformation as expressed by our American Forefathers.

Our men's group, with guest appearances by Lancene and Jessica, brought the chairs back to the newly-renovated Old St. Stephen's Chapel. The new floor looks great. There was a lot of scrubbing and dusting and applying floor protectors to the legs. We'll be ready for Sunday's service at 3pm -- Trinity Sunday, with guest priest Fr. Tait Deems.

Bishop Gerry confirmed three of our members today, on Pentecost Sunday. Also, we're moving from the Nazarene Church (seen in the background) back to our historic chapel next Sunday for Trinity Sunday. Congratulations, confirmands!

Join us for the Feast of the Ascension at 7pm tomorrow, Thursday May 14 at the Church of the Nazarene.

In other news, work on restoring the chapel floor slowed to a crawl this past week, so it's doubtful we'll be able to move in this Sunday. Keep watching this feed or the Flocknote e-mails for updates. We are so thankful to Pastor Lonnie and the Church of the Nazarene for their hospitality!

Here's a video update on the new floor at Old St. Stephen's Chapel. The new boards have been stained, somewhat lighter than the still visible older wood. The baseboards and vent covers have not been installed, and I didn't go all the way in to see the new tile in the narthex (entrance). So there's been lots of progress in the last week, but still much to do. Hoping that we can move back in for May 10, or certainly by May 14 for Ascension Day. I'll keep you posted.

I'm seeing progress on the new floors at our historic chapel. It's looking good. But I don't think we'll be ready to move in May 3. Visitors are finding us at our temporary location, and that's wonderful!

Chapel floor update 4/19/26. Week two. It looks like they are putting a new floor OVER the historic (spongy in places) floor. That's a lot of progress since last Tuesday. Feeling hopeful.

The workers are wasting no time getting started on the demolition of our (rented) historic chapel's floor. They removed the "stage" extension and we learned the chancel was originally three levels. Meanwhile, we are grateful to Pastor Lonnie and Longmont Church of the Nazarene for allowing us to worship in their church.
