What a blessing it has been for the Mission Team to come and serve in Uganda. We worked on Grandma Margrate's house, taught some art projects at the schools, celebrated Jesus with the grandmas and got to know our Ugandan staff better while sharing cultures. God is good, all the time! Much more was received than given.

Praising God with the grandmas is like no other experience! You can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. These women are inspiring. We gathered with the grandmas in the conference hall at the ChristAid office building and then we went and toured the Grandma Village.

The Grandma Village has provided housing for 9 un-housed grandmas. They are able to grow enough food on the property to feed themselves! Praise God. This is one of many steps toward self sustainability for the ministry.

What happens when a ChristAid Mission Team shows up in the bush to treat sick grandmas? Kids! Kids find the team and beautiful things happen. We play soccer (football), we hand out treats and share God's love! A smile is a smile in any language.
