In this present evil age (Galatians 1:4), truth is no longer welcome—GOD'S Word is no longer tolerated. The standard of righteousness declared by GOD has become offensive to a world drunk on its own rebellion. When you call sin what GOD calls it—SIN—you will be mocked, canceled, and branded as hateful. Why? Because LIGHT EXPOSES DARKNESS, and the world loves its sin more than it loves truth (John 3:19-20).
But GOD did not call His people to fit in. He called us to STAND OUT.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who put darkness for light and light for darkness.”
— Isaiah 5:20
Standing for righteousness isn’t optional—it’s a COMMAND. You are not called to be liked, but to be LOYAL TO CHRIST (John 15:18-19). Jesus said the world would hate His followers just as it hated Him. Why? Because the cross confronts every human heart with this truth: YOU ARE A SINNER IN NEED OF REDEMPTION (Romans 3:23).
“Have I then become your enemy by telling you the truth?”
— Galatians 4:16
If you are being labelled a hater for upholding what GOD says about marriage, gender, life, purity, holiness, and the gospel, then PRAISE GOD—you are likely standing where Christ stood. Truth has never been popular. Prophets were stoned, apostles were beaten, and CHRIST WAS CRUCIFIED.
Do not let the fear of man silence your witness. Be bold. Speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), but NEVER TRADE TRUTH FOR ACCEPTANCE. Remember: silence in the face of evil is not compassion—it is COWARDICE. And GOD hates cowardice (Revelation 21:8).
We are not ambassadors of tolerance—we are ambassadors of CHRIST (2 Corinthians 5:20), who came full of GRACE AND TRUTH (John 1:14). And truth confronts sin. So let the world rage. Let them call you what they will. Because in the end, it’s not about their approval—it’s about GOD’S GLORY.
“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of GOD? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of CHRIST.”
— Galatians 1:10
STAND. SPEAK. SUFFER WELL. You may be hated now, but eternity will vindicate every word spoken for JESUS.
GOD doesn’t call us to be comfortable.
GOD calls us to be FAITHFUL.
