Who is our leader? Jesus calls us His sheep. Is being a sheep so bad? Leaders in our world are trying to drive out the poor and marginalized so that we will be safe. But Jesus is the Good Shepherd and he calls us to follow him and take care of those that cannot care for themselves. Today is Palm Sunday and Sunday of the Passion. “Now as [Jesus] was approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, saying, ‘Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!’’ (Luke 19:37-38).
