UPDATE: With a snowy weather forecast, the roof work and playground closure have been rescheduled for the week of April 20.

For safety reasons, St. Andrew’s yard will be closed to all use during the day the week of March 30. St. Andrew’s is getting a new roof! Once the roof is on, the yard will reopen to all people and pets.

Today, at 9:00 am MDT, the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, Sarah Mullally, will be formally "enthroned" at Canterbury Cathedral. The service will be rich in music, pageantry and symbolism. Archbishop Sarah will preach. The Archbishop of Canterbury is the head of the Church of England. In the wider Anglican Communion (including the Episcopal Church) the Archbishop's role is largely symbolic, but still significant. The live broadcast begins at 8:30 am MDT; the actual service begins at 9:00 am.
