The Celebration of Life honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Gene Lloyd Depass will take place at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church located at 411 Parshley St. SW, Live Oak, FL 32064. The public visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 5:00-6:00p.m. also at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in Live Oak, Florida.

On this Memorial Day, we humbly pause in remembrance of the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Words can never fully express the gratitude we have for those who answered the call to serve with bravery, honor, and selflessness. We also extend our deepest love and prayers to the families who continue to carry the weight of that sacrifice. Your strength, resilience, and devotion will never be forgotten.

It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Gene Lloyd Depass a beloved and cherished resident of Live Oak, Florida. He peacefully transitioned from labor to eternal rest on May 16, 2026.

Mr. DePass was a great soldier in the Army of the Lord. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, wisdom, and compassion that will continue to inspire generations to come. Though he may no longer walk among us, the impact of his life and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who loved and cherished him forever.

The Celebration of Life honoring the Life and Legacy of Mr. Leroy Jennings Sr., will take place at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Beulah Baptist Church located at 10522 1st Street, White Springs, Florida 32096. The public visitation will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. at The Douglas M. Udell Funeral Home Chapel.
