Following Jesus isn't a personality trait. It's a direction. A daily laying-down. And it starts with one next step, not a perfect track record.

You've seen the trend. Looks maxing. Exercise maxing. Relationship maxing. Everything's about grinding harder, optimizing yourself, chasing the next level. And it's exhausting.

But Christianity is not a life improvement strategy. It's a rescue mission. You don't earn wholeness through endless self-help. You receive it. Jesus doesn't need your best version, He needs you. Come as you are.

Candy. Popcorn. Screaming kids in the best way possible. Trunk or Treat 2026 was pure chaos and pure joy, and honestly, that's exactly what community looks like when you get out of the house and show up for each other.

We Love Where We Live isn't just a saying around here, it's families piling out of decorated trunks, neighbors connecting over handfuls of candy, and kids running through our parking lot like they own the place.

There's a moment in Jonah where God says something that stops you cold. Jonah is furious—he's hot, he's tired, his plant has died. He's falling apart over a vine. And God asks him: Don't you care about 120,000 people living in spiritual darkness?

How do you think God would answer if he asked you that question today?

Not to shame you, but to redirect you. Because here's what the book of Jonah keeps showing us: God uses ordinary people in ordinary ways. He sent a prophet. He didn't send an angel or do it himself. He didn't orchestrate a massive crusade. He sent one person to one city.

That's the pattern that reaches the world. If every believer followed it, one person reaching one person, the whole world could hear about Jesus in a generation.
