Thank you to everyone who helped to make this year’s Fall Festival a success! Thank you to everyone who decorated a trunk, hosted a game, and welcomed families! A special thank you to Steve and Linda Reed for cooking and serving the food, Bro. Eddie for the tractor hay rides, and everyone who bid on a dessert for the youth dessert auction fundraiser!

We have quit the lineup for the Youth Dessert Auction Fundraiser! Join us at our annual Fall Festival on Sunday, October 25th at 4:00 to purchase one of these delicious desserts and help our youth raise money for youth camp!

Come out to our annual Fall Festival this Sunday, October 25th, at 4:00 for our Youth Bake Sale! Each dessert will be handmade by one of our youth and auctioned off to raise money for them to attend youth camp next summer.

The road beckened…”Get Your Kicks on Route 66” and a group of our Wise Wanderers responded. We embarked on the first half of our Armchair Travel video journey of this historic highway, which is such a vital part of America’s history.

Today we traveled from the beginning of the road in Chicago, Illinois, to Oklahoma. Next month, we will complete our journey as we motor from Oklahoma to the end of the highway in Santa Monica, California.

Brother EJ started us off by praying for our nation‘s truck drivers who are the heartbeat of our economy.

Then, along the way, we enjoyed a retro ‘highway-diner’ style lunch of hamburgers, chips, and baked beans followed by an assortment of “ice-cream truck” ice-cream treats.

We invite you to sign up for next month’s trip down Route 66 from Oklahoma to California on Saturday, November 14th at 11:00!

Due to scheduling conflicts, we will not have our brotherhood meeting this evening. We hope to see all of our men on Sunday!

Due to the high probability of rain in the morning, we will move our Homecoming meal into the Fellowship Hall after the AM service. We hope you will join us for Sunday School at 9:30 and morning worship at 10:45 as we celebrate 104 years!
